Custom rugs are not returnable. It is essential that you describe the rug you want, in an email with pictures. You can
also send paint chips, fabric swatches, photos of the room, and anything else you think will help. I don't do samples.
I will, however, send you samples of the fabric and the warp threads for your approval. Minimum custom order
is $250. Turn around time can vary, depending on how busy I am, from 2-6 weeks. If you have any further questions, please

Rugs from 24" wide to 29" wide
are $12 a square foot.
Rugs from 30"
wide to 48" wide are $15 a square foot.
Rugs
from 49" wide to 84" wide are $18 a square foot.
These
prices are subject to change if special materials are
necessary
to design the rug.
50% of the total price
is due at the beginning of the work, with the balance plus shipping due at the end. Insurance on the package is optional,
and the responsibility of the customer. Time necessary to complete an order ranges from 3 to 6 weeks. Custom rugs are
not returnable.
This is a 7' x 8' mixed blue/barn red cotton
rug, with hemmed edges.
Custom rugs are available
in widths up to 7' wide in one piece, and in lengths up to 25'.
Wider
rugs are available, and will have to be seamed.
Coordinating a rug over the phone or the
internet can be a challenge for me, and for the customer. There are several things to be kept in mind. First of
all, it is virtually impossible to get an exact length. I try to get as close as possible, but that being said, there
are too many variables involved. The best one can hope for is to get within inches. I prefer to go over a couple
of inches, rather than under. But the customer should be aware of this from the beginning. I like to know the
maximum length that will work for you, and then get as close to that as possible.
There are different options for color choices. Historically, rag rugs are made
from a variety of fabrics, and oft times the rug appears to be "hit and miss", or striped. I attempt
to match your colors as closely as I can. You can also pick warp colors; they can be threaded in a random pattern, or
in stripes. Using my own creative muse, I will try to weave the rug you want.

GOOD rugs, I found (and took a chance on) Crazy-As-A-Loom. After my first telephone conversation with Hilary, I hung up and
thought "I just found my Rug-Lady...."
I commissioned a large rug from Hilary and was utterly surprised, during the
next week, by the degree of care and attention she paid (BEFORE even starting on the rug) to making sure she made
